The writer/creator of this site is a working Firefighter/Paramedic in the north Florida area and has been practicing in emergency medicine since 2005.
Ask Your Medic was started as by compiling a few self diagnosis or self help articles about the signs and symptoms of various medical emergencies. As this website expands you will find links to health related sites, links to emergency care provider related sites and more. I hope to address many of the most common situations that pose the question "Do I need an ambulance."
